Our operations are conducted Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with limited
after-hours transportation available by prior approval. American Medical Transit maintains
two distinct pricing structures to best serve our clients: Private-Pay pricing for individuals
and families, and Facility Flat-Rate pricing designed for medical offices, clinics, assisted
living communities, and contracted healthcare partners. These pricing models are
intentionally separated to provide clarity, consistency, and simplified billing.
ONE-WAY MEDICAL TRANSPORT (PRIVATE PAY)
- Base Pickup Fee: $45
- Mileage Rate: $2.50 per loaded mile
- Typical Local Trip: $65 - $75 (ambulatory)
WHEELCHAIR-ASSIST SERVICE
- Wheelchair-Assist Fee: +$15 per trip
- Folding/manual wheelchairs only • Non-wheelchair-accessible vehicle
ROUND-TRIP (SAME DAY)
- Round-Trip Base Fee: $75 • Mileage: $2.25 per mile
WAIT TIME
- First 15 minutes free • After: $20 per 30 minutes
LONG-DISTANCE (25+ miles)
- $2.00 per mile • $50 minimum trip
CANCELLATIONS / NO-SHOWS
- Less than 2 hours notice: $40 • No-show: Full base fee
